The best work is hard. It's not always time consuming or emotionally taxing. Seeking originality in the representation of systems, products, ideals and most importantly people is hard. There are documented ways to get to approach that originality but never a guarantee. A combination of deep research, true understanding, and frequent conversations (and the random bursts of inspiration) have more often than not led to sensitive words and stirring visuals that can help brands more clearly own their identity, build confidence in new spaces, and focus on their practical goals.
