Some Kind of Nothing.
Four short stories on life, loss,
longing and utter despair

Identity
Writing Design Web
OverviewA collection of stories written throughout the last decade. Each has a unique look at tragedy and power dynamics. Published as a low-fi, perfect-bound book/zine, SKON utilized fully recycled oatmeal paper and rich, brown-black ink.
Book & LaunchThe release involved a takeover of a local bookshop and the launch of an interactive microsite "Conflagrations."

The microsite features the photography of Connor Molloy, with selected photos representing each story. Behind them, a WebGL canvas turns another photo into flames, controlled by the user's cursor. A large texture layer sits atop the site to mirror the oatmeal texture of the French paper. The book and site were published with Speedway.
